Terms and Conditions

My customers are extremely important to me.  Therefore, my objective is that you are happy with your purchase and the service I provide.  However, even the best-run businesses sometimes encounter problems.  In the unlikely event that something goes wrong with your order, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to rectify the situation to your satisfaction. 

Returns 

I gladly accept returns, but please contact me within 14 days of receiving your item in order that a return can be arranged.  I cannot accept returns after 14 days unless the item is faulty, or it has been inaccurately described. 

Unless the item is faulty or has been improperly described, the buyer will be responsible for return postage costs.  

For items sent outside the United Kingdom, the buyer is responsible for paying any customs or import duties. 
 
Custom Orders
 
I cannot accept returns on custom-made items unless there is a fault or the item has been wrongly described. However, I want you to be completely happy with your purchase, so please contact me and I will do my best to offer you a solution that is satisfactory. 
I work hard to ensure that things go smoothly, but in the event that something isn't right, there is always a way to resolve any problems.  Contact me - I'll deal with it in a friendly manner.
 
Colours and Sizes
I always try to describe my items as fully as possible.  I will usually give measurements and often photograph items with a measuring rule for comparison. If you are unsure about size, please contact me and I will happily provide additional measurements.
Colours in my photos are not enhanced or changed, apart from brightening.  I do my best to show colour as clearly as possible and my photographs are taken in natural daylight, not under artificial light.  However, there is always some variation in different monitors and electronic device screens. Therefore, please bear in mind that colours may differ very slightly from the image on your screen. 
 
Length of Time for Delivery
I aim to post every item within 1 to 2 business days of purchase.  I use Royal Mail parcel delivery and always send my parcels with tracking.  In the UK I send items 1st Class tracked and overseas I send by airmail tracked or tracked and signed.  Mostly, items arrive promptly, but I have no control over the speed of delivery once the items are in the Postal Service and times for delivery can vary quite a bit - especially at busy times of year.  Please allow plenty of time if you need your item for a special event or if it is a gift. You will be able to track the progress of your item, as I always provide a tracking number once the item has been sent. 
 
Combined Postage
I always offer combined postage.  If you buy more than one item from me, you will only pay postage for one item.  Usually my postage charges are a flat rate (as most items are jewellery and don't vary too much in weight), but occasionally there are heavier items such as decorative antiques. If you buy more than one item, you will only pay for the cost of posting the heaviest item purchased. I always keep my postage charges to the minimum.
 
Discounts
I believe that my prices offer very good value for money.  I sell quality items and I price-check to ensure that my vintage items and antiques are among the most competitively priced you'll find anywhere.  I also offer the peace of mind of a money-back guarantee.  Therefore, I don't offer discounts as a rule. However, if you are making a purchase of more than two items, a small discount may be possible - just contact me before paying. 
 
Import Taxes and Duty
The buyer is responsible for paying any import taxes or customs duty when items are sent outside of the UK.
